Scwarmer

Thank you for all the nice comments lately :o) It is always nice to find traces of your visits ;o)

My beloved two skeins of Noro Blossom finally found its right use early this spring - I just never came around to posting the Scwarmer (SC-arf + arm & shoulder WARMER). Until today. And this post definitely lacks an important element: photos that really describes the versatility and nice details of the garment. So stay tuned - more photos will be blogged as soon as I can get someone to help me take them. I simply forgot to ask my Handyhunk assistant to do more angles, more details etc. Photographing ones own back would be a challenge even for a yogi so I gues I just have to wait for my Handyhunk to return ;o)

Hat # 5

Here I go again! Another hat is done... started at a knitting café last night and finished later the same night. This one is for a cutie who turns 3 today - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mathea! She will have her present in a few days, as I am planning to adorn it with some lace and beads and maybe a crochet flower and also accompany it by a scarf. The yarn is less than 50 g of Smart from Sandnes. The needles are 3,5 mm and the pattern is yet another variation on my own basic hat pattern.

Hat # 4

This is the 4th and probably last hat I knit for charity for a while. I will probably knit more hats for the near and dear, though, as the cold season is sneaking up on us. My simple pattern is very versatile, and this last one has even a flower/star-like decrease design. The possibilities for alterations and variations are endless for the happy hats! I can assure you that this is not a complicated knit (ref. my commenter from last post) :o)

Hat # 3

More blurry pictures for you today ;-) Another hat is finished - still the same simple, improvised basic pattern. This time with stripes of moss stitch, and a plait patterned rib. There is a hat # 4 on the needles now, almost done, so stay tuned if you are into hats! There will be other news later :o)

Hat # 2 again

Finally a sign of life again... RL is still busy, but I get a bit of knitting done some nights, on the train etc. Hat # 2 is now finished and photographed in poor light - trying to catch it´s true colours. Thinking that a blurry picture with true colours is better than a sharp, over exposed and "falsely" coloured one ;o)
