Ull er ikke tull!

The Wool ain´t no Fool...

Det synes i allefall ikke jeg - selv om det kan bli varmt nok med store prosjekter i ull sommerstid. Lager man mange små lapper, derimot, går det helt fint! Dette sjalet er laget av årgangsgarn fra 80-tallet - ekte vare fra "Ull og tull"! Et bevis på at garnlageret kan være en kilde til inspirasjon, og ikke bare en kilde til dårlig samvittighet...

This shawl was made from vintage wool - the real thing from the 80´s, bought from the once upon a time oh-so-famous shop "Ull & tull" ("Wool & mess/foolishness"). Wool combined with the summer heat might by some (non-knitting) people be seen as foolishness... Hence the nerdy title of this post! Small squares solves the wool/fool problem, and in any case this project is good proof that the stash can also be a source of inspiration - not only a source of guilt...
